Oh the Places You'll Go: Pondering Life After Grad School

Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss

When I graduated high school, my mom gave me Oh the places you'll go and its whimsical illustrations and words of wisdom continue to inspire me.  I can't help but think of this book as I'm finished with school (again) and looking for what's next.  Kinda scary,  but mostly exciting.  I try to think of myself as an optimist :)

It's so surreal that graduation is here again (Friday to be exact)...My thesis is still looming but I'm trying to enjoy the end of the year, the end of my graduate school experience, and the end of my time with my classmates.  Even though the days of theme parties and marathon field trips are over, I know we will stay in touch and support each other out in the "real world."
