July Top 10 #theusiscooltoo

I'm currently sitting at the Austin airport after an awesome bachelorette party for my friend Claire of the blog Blueprints and Backpacks, coming to the realization that July is over. Can you believe it?

Looking for Willie and Frose

I'm so excited by the support of the hashtag project #theusiscooltoo over on Instagram! Over 600 photos have been shared by travelers from all over the United States. Since y'all have shared so many inspiring photos (with more to come hopefully), I started @theusiscooltoo account so I can feature a new USA travel photo every day! Go give it a follow!

My friend Raina is a preservationist I met way back in 2013 at the National Preservation Conference in Indianapolis. She now works at the National Trust of Historic Preservation in Washington D.C. Her account is filled with some of the most beautiful architecture around the country so go check her out! This shot of the Kennedy Center is stunning right?

I don't know @addieabroad personally but love this shot of The Stanley Hotel in Colorado. Does it look familiar? It is the hotel from Jack Nicholson's terrifying film The Shining and reportedly one of the most haunted hotels in the United States.

@photojeepers is an awesome account for some truly incredible landscape shots like this one from the National Bridges Monument in Utah.

Charleston is always a good idea. @denisse_aida captures the beauty of this historic city so well. Check out more of Charleston's historic architecture here.

My cousin Lucy @lucy.soulshine followed in my footsteps and headed to Maui for an adventure after completing her undergrad. She is still livin' the dream out there so go check out her account for a dose of aloha.

The Tibetan Mongolian Buddhist Cultural Center is one of the most unique places I've ever visited. It's a beautiful retreat just south of Bloomington with a temple, acres of forest, and even yurts available for rent. Thanks to @theofficialteal for sharing this colorful Buddha.

My friend @dominiquepaye and I share a love of art and architecture so I'm so excited she shared this shot of one of my favorite museums. Have you been to the Met?

One thing I've learned about traveling the US is that there are wineries all over this country. This dreamy shot from @wandering.dawn is from the Woeffler Estate Wine Stand in the Hamptons.

I haven't been to Washington D.C. since middle school (shameful I know!) and I'm so ready to go back. Thanks for submitting this gorgeous photo from the Smithsonian @peacockandbear!
