I can't believe it's May y'all! April seriously flew by. I kicked off the month with a quick trip to Indianapolis for Upland Brewing Company's annual Sour Wild Funk Fest. My friend Cara and I did some serious brunching as well while in the Circle City. Check it out.

Over Little 500 weekend, Ryan and I played tour guide in Bloomington for my friends Kristin and Scott of the blog Camels and Chocolate. We had the best time brunching, mushroom hunting, and beer drinking with them in town. If you love a good college town getaway, check out her guide to Bloomington, Indiana.  

At the end of the month, I went down south for a girls weekend in Birmingham, Alabama with my mom and sister. Birmingham is one of the culinary meccas of the South so we had a blast eating our way around town. I'll be sharing more from that trip in coming posts so stay tuned.

Speaking of mom... Give her what she really wants - a chance to spend time with you on a trip she doesn't have to plan! I booked a trip with Pack Up & Go for my mom back in January for her birthday and we had a ball. They planned and booked everything for us; all we had to do was show up at the airport. Check out my full review here.
